The Daily 8

As I sadly wait longer than everyone else for my September issue to arrive, here’s some of what I’ve been reading:

1. Say it ain’t so! NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio fails at eating pizza again. Deficiente! [New York Magazine]

2. One of my favorite home brands, Beekman 1802, has a giant goat made out of chocolate they want you to name. Now that’s a contest. [Beekman 1802]

3. A recipe for mint mojito iced lattes. I think that sells itself. [Eat, Live, Run]

4. An adorable dessert/favor for your next dinner party. Plus tips on how to make it healthier. [Burlap & Crystal]

5. Cabbage is everywhere here and much cheaper than lettuce. I love it because it holds up to dressings without going all nasty soggy (cringe). Some cabbage recipes to try. [FitSugar]

6. This woman’s dramatic reading of “Single Ladies” is perfection. [Jezebel]

7. I’m way late to the West Elm game but so glad I found them because they ship to Japan! I have my eye on this ombre throw. Is it a sign I’m getting older if I dig a monogram? [West Elm]

8. Will you be checking out the collaboration between H&M and artist Jeff Koons? [The New York Times]
