Another year has flown by! Can you believe it? I can’t. 2016, wow.
Craig and I were fortunate to have friends from the U.S. in town to ring in the new year. We spent a few days showing them some of our favorite sights around Tokyo — it’s always fun to see someone’s enthusiasm when they explore Japan for the first time. It helps us stay enthusiastic about our own travels throughout our adopted home.
To welcome 2016, we first enjoyed some Korean barbecue at Toraji in Ginza and then made our way over to Zōjōji Temple, which is located right in front of Tokyo Tower and is one of the most popular places to celebrate New Year’s Eve. As you can see from my pics, we were definitely not alone in our choice of location. Once 2016 officially began, we did a bit of dancing and celebrating at UNIT.
I’ll be sharing my resolutions for 2016 tomorrow, so be sure to check back. Cheers to the new year!
